Bio

I grew up in Omaha, Nebraska and started attending Iowa State University in Fall 2014. After declaring a political science major, I had many mentors within the department provide me with job and internship opportunities that enriched my experience at ISU. I was able to work as a Teaching Assistant for Professor Steffen Schmidt and as a Research Assistant for Professor David Peterson. My Campaigns and Election class required us to work a certain amount of hours on a political campaign, and through this requirement I obtained a fellowship on a major presidential campaign.

These professors and other mentors also provided me with sound advice on the admission process to law school and what I could expect once I enrolled. I was later accepted into the University of Iowa College of Law, where I graduated in the top ten percent of my class. I am now working as an attorney in Omaha, Nebraska where I focus my practice on estate planning, estate and trust administration, and corporate transactions. I am certain that my time at Iowa State set a strong foundation for my later successes. The political science department at Iowa State is full of individuals happy to help guide students, and I am thankful for my time spent within the department.
